天守の礎石
天守は昭和20年（1945）6月に戦災で焼失し、昭和41年（1966）に元の位置に再建されました。焼失前の柱を支えていた礎石はここに移され、元どおりに並んでいます。

Cornerstones of the Castle Tower: Memories of its Construction
The castle tower was destroyed in the air raids of June 1945, but was then reconstructed in its original location in 1966. The cornerstones which supported pillars from before the castle’s destruction were moved here and placed in their original arrangement.
